These cleat covers increase the service life of Speedplay’s V.2 cleats because they don’t need to be removed when cycling. When you put your foot down, there is no wear on the face of the cleat or the cleat fixing bolts. These are now the ‘Version 2’ which has a claimed service life four-times longer than the original.

Speedplay has discontinued production of its V.2 cleats in favor of the newer Walkable Cleats leaving these covers obsolete.
