I have a customer named Ken Manley who is a photographer. Ken’s style of photography is different to most and he’s recently spent some time in our shop photographing a ‘Ken’ view of our little world. ‘Ken view’ is quite different to mine and I found the results surprising, especially when considering how much time I spend at work. I’m used to the surroundings having spent years of my life in them, but Ken has found nooks and crannies and viewed them with a different perspective.
See what you think.
For anyone interested in a ‘Ken’ view of their world, Ken can be contacted via ken.zeitguyimages@gmail.com

Nice shots. And lots of them, too. Ken’s clearly got a great eye for detail, light, and it looks like he’s got a pretty sweet tilt-shift lens as well.
Enjoyed the pics.
Have you got Velotron now, Steve?
G’day Chris,
Yes, had it since January but only got it up and running since June.

Hard to pick a favourite (he sure likes close-ups!), but I do like the one of the brake lever (Campy?)
G’day Paul,
funnily enough they are really old Dura Ace. So old that
they are centre pull brakes with suicide levers. Mid to late 60’s I would guess.
Well It make me think again about my own workshop and the items, some similar to yours Steve, and how I should take the camera into those nooks and crannies.
I restore and service clocks I think I can also find a bike wheel in there among the clock wheels too.
