COMFORT + EFFICIENCY = PERFORMANCE

Some riders sit off to one side of their seat for no other reason than a skewed awareness of how they bear their weight on the seat. Most are powerless to break out this asymmetric way of sitting, which increases their of overuse injuries occurring. The more symmetrically the rider can sit and apply power to the pedals, the less likely there is to be a problem. The Data Head allows the rider who naturally sits off to one side to pedal in a more functionally symmetrical way.

The Data Head is the seat rail clamp from a range of now discontinued FSA seat posts. With the removal of two small lugs, the seat can be offset laterally to either side by up to 7 mm. They are compatible with Thomson seat posts which are available in a wide variety of diameters and in 0 and 16 mm offsets.

Over time most people who use a Data Head to centre themselves over the bike are able to move their seats back to the centreline as they develop an increased unconscious awareness of how they are bearing their weight.
